Summerfield is a 31 bed care home suitable for long and short stay patients. We also cater for those who need post-operative, convalescent or respite care.

We offer 24 hour residential care by highly qualified staff in comfortable pretty accommodation with double rooms and single rooms most of which have en-suite facilities, some with Showers. Our ground floor rooms open up onto our landscaped gardens, which are wonderful to sit out in the Summer.

All our bedrooms are equipped with a modern high tec call system, have television and phone points and are furnished to an extremely high standard. We do encourage residents to bring along any personal belongings to make their living space a home-from-home. .

We have two dining rooms and several luxurious spacious lounges. If you want to sit quietly and read a book, join in a community event or entertain your family in private there is always a room available.

Our lounges, as you would expect from an hotel are comfortable with television and video facilities as well as a music centre. provide space for relaxation at all times.

The conservatory serves as a perfectly relaxing place to view the garden, socialise, or dine. Residents are invited to dine with others or in their own rooms.

We have specially adapted bathrooms and an assisted shower room to provide for those who may need a little more help to enjoy the comfort of bathing whilst feeling secure.

Summerfield has its own laundry service collecting and delivering clothes back to the individual client. Our Housekeeper ensures that all garments are cared for, hand washed or dry-cleaned if necessary. We do insist that all garments are clearly labelled with the relevant client's name to abable us to idenitfy them easily.
